Are there any Chevy guys on this forum I have a 02 s10 2.2l flex fuel truck monitors for evap and air inject will not set mode 6 shows component 11 and component 71 failed can any tell me exactly what theses are and what to check for these failing. I can use purge and seal test and it holds vac after purge is shut off and vent is left closed.file: mode6.jpg -

I don't have the mode 6 information but if the evap failed, run the purge/seal function.
Monitor the fuel tank pressure while doing so. If you can't pull a vacuum in the fuel
tank, try "clicking" the vent valve with the scan tool. You should here it click when you
command it. Try to run the air pump with the scan tool. Air pumps were a very
common failures on S10's of those years. There is service bullitens out there for them.
They ingest water. They have an updated air pump kit that addresses the issue.
