im looking to buy a scanner and would like to know the difference between ecu coding and ecu programming. i would like to be able to reprogram vin codes. -

Coding only deals with the codes and so it is less intimidating and less intensive."Still not really clear to me either. I Just think of Reprogramming as the refilling of an empty water tower and coding as the assigning which spigots that the water will be allowed to flow to before anyone gets water to flush their turds down the pipe.
