Hard Reset of an MD608 PRO

    Something is wrong with the SD card on my 608, when inserted the unit won't power up but does power on when it's not inserted then it dies if inserted.

    No silly me has not backed up the SD card.

    How can I force the unit to start up, do a hard reset or just to do something?????

    I guess I need a copy of a good SD card?

     I managed to fix this myself.

    SD System program had become corrupt.

    I simply deleted the folder and ran the updater with the card in a PC slot and it downloaded and installed a new system program which enabled the MD608 PRO to start up.

    Ran the updater again and 99 files later it's all working again.

    Yes I have now backed up the SD card.
