Brand new to diagnostics, what do I use the xp200 for?

Hi, I am a complete newbie when it comes to diagnostics, particularly the IM508 which is what I am using. I am a locksmith and I will be using it for IMMO functions. My Autel IM508 came with a XP200. I think its for EEPROM, but what else can I do with it? Can I clone transponders or anything else with it? I cannot find any info online about what the xp200 does
