    Hi this is done for safety reasons, it need to be checked and turn on by the dealer after
    the necessary repairs.

    So this tool is pretty useless and I have to use a £20 hex can instead

    Hi, no the tool is useful but there is a cable at your battery that is internally
    disconnected because of the accident, this cable must be changed or repaired. Than
    the car will start.
