    Its the right vin because smog shops have right Info and a cheap scanner reads it correctly. Don't understand why a 500 scanner doesn't pull up correct vehicle . even ifi manually enter the vin the wrong model shows up. Any ideas would be appreiated.

    Hi never heard of such a thing before,try it on other vehicles if same problem occurs,
    and if other scanners do choose the right vehicle and yours does not maybe by
    another scanner.
