How to update mileage on 02 maxima ( instrument cluster swap).

    Using an maxi906BT with latest software update, but still can't communicate with vehicle. I've tried rebooting tablet, using Bluetooth and the cable but nothing works. Can't even communicate with bcm. Starting to think this tablet is over priced junk.

    Hi, the main reason is your car ,its to old for modern scanners its still obd2 and not
    eobd yet,you need a older scanner or you must visit a dealer.

    I understand. However, I find it hard to believe only because I was able to swap and
    update mileage on an ecm for a 2004 town and country. Scanner is a maxisys ms
    906BT. It won't even communicate with the bcm on the maxima.

     A 2002 Maxima does not have a BCM.

    Very true, my all data was showing it does (even gave me a part number, however its
    not the case). The ms906bt should still be able to correct the mileage imo.
