im608 not connecting to vehicle after updates

    I updated my im608 recently and now only connects to a vehicle when there is internet connectivity. I have done previous update without any problem

    Hi, contact a Autel dealer for a solution or try to get another 608 and do not update.

    The so called security update requires connection to Autel servers to do anything,
    This is a slap in the face to those of us who service rural areas with no cell phone
    service.

    I am sure that there was a better way to secure the device and retain functionality.
