I have two models with the N54 (E88, E92). One of them keeps throwing cylinder misfire errors. I've already replaced coils, injectors and plugs. Before I start swapping injectors around, I thought to try the testing function with my Maxi808. Maybe I'm not understanding what's supposed to happen.
When I try to do the injector test (deactivating one injector at a time through the Autel) in both cars it says "Failed" for cylinders 4-6. Cylinder 1 doesn't produce any result. Cylinders 2-3 are noticeably deactivated and the engine shakes in response, as expected.
The fact that it happens with both cars the same way confuses me. Anyone else conduct this procedure and have tips?
