1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Keyfob programming.

     When trying to program a *NEW* remote keyfob to a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee I get the following error on my Autel Maxiscan MX808 (Which is up to date with all software) : 
    The selected function is not supported.

    Can anyone shed some light on this and what i should do to overcome the problem?

    Hi, the information ,,the selected function is not supported,, means you have to do this
    manually, for a radio frequency on the 1996 to 1998 remotes you have to visit the
    dealer or a locksmith.
