    Got a 2004 Chevy Tahoe 5.3l that at random while at idle engine starts to surge can of find reason can anyone help

    Hi, do you have any codes? Without codes it will be guessing,,this looks like incoming
    air seeping in after the Maf sensor,check for cracked hoses and the pcv valve and
    surroundings.

    Yes codes are a p0171 and p0174 and a p0102 I already checked all the hoses sprayed
    starting fluid around the intake

    The codes refer to a system too lean in bank 2 and overall the system, this can be
    caused by a bad maf sensor or electrical connection, or a bad connection around the
    maf sensor, check clamps and intake hoses.

    Maf sensor has been replaced twice, found a vacuum leak from the pcv hose after that
    the only code was for the ect

    Hi, fine, now check the ect sensor connector and engine ground, and wiring,if OK
    change ect sensor, and erase the codes.

     I get the same codesin a silverado 2003, i fixed changed the admition gasquets
