This scanner doesn’t work for me but for the others

     Hello guys,

    I have bought an OTOFIX D1 Lite version scanner and I have 3 vehicles. A Ford Explorer 2017, a 2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat and a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, the scanner detects the Jeep and the Dodge but not the Ford, the other 2 that it detects scans everything but does not delete the codes, it is a tasteless scanner, it does nothing more than reading codes or it is just a misuse based on my ignorance.

    Hi, there is nothing wrong with your device,the problem is the sgw that the car industry
    invented to make the job not easy anymore, for Chrysler/fiat products after 2016 you
    need a extra 12+8 cable to bypass the sgw. Or you must get the autoauth on your
    device

    Hi, your autofix is called lite ,with this scanner you are able to do all the basi c things to
    be done on a car, for doing complicated things you want to perform you need the otofix
    d1 pro or max .

    Hi yes I can ,at first go to the autoauth website( autoauth.com), click register now and
    create your free account.,after setting up your user account,you will need to create a
    shop account and enter your credit card information for the yearly subscription
    required for SGW.also you must by a 12+8 cable for Chrysler products
