    I have B5 Passat, year 2000. I am unable to connect with any control units. All software is updated. I have selected the correct vehicle, and also tried entering the VIN; still no success.

    Hi, the reason why your car does not connect to your mk808 is because European cars
    before 2002 are not prepared for eobd yet they are still obd 2 this looks the same
    however. To read your car you need a older vag prepared scanner.

    Thanks for the reply. I have a ross tech vag that I have used with this car. I have it somewhere. Frustrating that this one won't work!
