How do you register MaxiBAS BT506?

     I have bought the BT506 Battery accessory to use with my MaxiPro MP900-BT KIT unit. 
    I have already registered the MP900 but want to register the BT506.
    I have serial numbers, But only have the Register Password for MP900. As far as I can tell the BT506 does not have a Password.
    So how do I register the BT506 for warranty purposes?

    Hi, open battery test app and press,, register,, on the log in screen, follow on screen
    instructions to complete registration.log in with your email address and password. Pair
    the506 with the battery test app by scanning the QR code on the back of the tester or
    by Bluetooth pairing.
