Unable to write factory vin on JDM Ze1 Leaf

    I am currectly work on a JDM Nissan Leaf ZE1 with the MaxiSys MS906 BT 
    I need to change the radio's VIN to match the JDM Leaf VIN. 

    Although the AUTEL is telling me that the VIN is too small and is "Incorrect".
    It is correct! All JDM Nissan Leaf's have a smaller non "DOT" VIN's

    Has anyone found a work around with the MaxiSys?

    Please don't tell me this tool is useless on JDM cars...
    That is all on work on
