Why my Maxicom shows the diagnostic codes different: D5 instead of P0300 for misfire? Thanks

     The codes are depicted in different format: for example for the misfire I should see a code p0300, but it shows D4 or E4? This is for Land Rover Discovery II.
     is there a setting that I need to setup?

    Hi, does your maxicom show these codes always the wrong way? It should show the
    so called generic codes these codes starting with 0 and are global codes, but some car
    manufacturers uses the own specific codes so when you read the codes of this land
    rover the codes you get are normal for this car.

    You can find this under shop manager and than custom manager.

     Thank you for the reply.  The regular ODB code reader displays the right code. I do not have the shop manager module.

    Hi, sorry but the second answer you received was not for your code problem this was
    mistakenly send to you and was mend to solve somebody's else his problem.
