Wrong registered serial number entered - I entered the SN from MS609, what's up

     I have a MS609, when I go to register it using the serial number from the scanner, it reports back - Wrong registed serial number.
    Am I doing something wrong or is this old scanner removed from their database?

    Hi, this device is purely for the basic things to read from a car and it will work fine and
    does not need registration.
