Why were we not notified that Autel will no longer support all keys lost with Toyota and Lexus?

I went out to a vehicle today without notice and was made to look like a fool explaining to our customer why we couldn't suddenly program keys. I contacted a peer and fellow locksmith of ours who recently purchased a IM508 just like we have (we also recently acquired a KM100 as well) and he was able to reach out to someone to find out for me that Autel suddenly stopped offering AKL functions on all Lexus and Toyota.I read through the article I could only find on Reddit for some reason. My main question is:WHY WERE WE NOT NOTIFED BY AUTEL IMMEDIATELY????? We purchased this programmer to have the capabilities to do Toyota and Lexus AKL situations as we were not having a good time with our Smart Box.I guess we will have to go back to that programmer now... -
