     I have an OTOFIX D1 Max scanner with a subscription and updates.
    I have a MaxiDAS DS808BT scanner.
    I have a paid account in AutoAuth. But when working with Stellantis/FCA cars, it did not help me much. I could not unlock the security gateway.

    But today, when diagnosing a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I received an offer from AUTEL US Inc. in the scanner to unlock the security gateway for $225 for one year.

    It looked like this. At first there was a message - "The requested software function was not purchased. code = 11299.
    Then a payment window opened and so on.
    It is very good that the service can be purchased in the scanner.

    BUT THERE IS A MAIN QUESTION!!!

    Will the security gateway be unlocked on Stellantis/FCA cars if I pay $225 ?????
    Has anyone purchased this service from Autel for this price? Does it really work?

    I have a sad experience worth $50 with AutoAuth, which does not work. 
    I will be grateful for any information

    Hi, on Chrysler/jeep/dodge/fiat,(all stellantis )you also need the 12+8 cable to bypass
    the sgw module, do you have that cable?.all stellantis cars after 2016.

     Hi!
    Yes, I have such a cable.
    But I would like to have a full set of services in a device costing more than $1000. Especially since work with the security gateway in Stellantis/FCA cars and AutoAuth support are provided in the device.
    Not all customers like it when their instrument panel or center console is "crushed".  And most of all, I regret the lost time when you need to do a simple job or clear error codes.
    Now Autel sells this function as a separate option?
    And I am ready to buy a subscription, but I am not sure that this is not another "scam" for money.
