Best regards to all forum members. I'm new to this forum and I would like to ask a question. Due to failure, short in wiring harness (harness replaced) and misfire due to consequential damage to ECU/ME  I have to replace engine ECU and program it to the vehicle. If I opt for used one does it need to be virginized or Autell Maxys 908 II can do the job with out virginizing?
The vehicle in question is 2021 GLE53, 167.361 vin: 4JGFD6BB7MA391594
    Thank you for your help.

Well, since there is not a single reply to my question, I owe you some answers provided by Autel tech support. The used ECU needs to be virginized or replaced with a new one from the dealer. Additionally, the MK 908 II should be able to code and initialize, as per tech support. No Autel IMMO tablet on the current market can reprogram/virginize the ECU on cars from 2014 and up (specifically, MBZ and BMW), according to Autel tech support.
    Best regards!
