     has anybody programmed a 2000 ford pats module. it will let me in but says tester cant communicate with module. I replaced pats module with a used one that worked. Any help would be appreated.

    I've found that the software on fords has about a 75% success rate. When I get that
    error with the 708 I'll hook up the ids and it works.

     Tried to program keys on a 2000 F150 and the 708 would not do it. Used the iscan II with no problem.

    I have found that autel has problems with pre 2002 ford pats functions. It will give you the option and will execute the 10 minute pats security access timer but then it will give you an error and won't let you proceed.

     I have the same problems trying to program pats keys ... if u have one known good key I found that having the motor running will allow exes to be able to program the keys..

    Autel ms=908p does have an option to do a pats system on fusion at all. What's the
    deal ? Do you have any Info ?

    No bill i have not done pats in this particular vehicle model year that i can remember,
    now not all ford vehicles the pats its located in pcm, for some of them this option is
    located in ipc i can't remember if this is one of them, check in ipc let me know.
