I assume the service message you mentioned is the service interval?DS708 does provide this function. -

No I can reset the service inerval manualy. There is A service due message in th instument cluster that requires A scan tool to rest. The ds708 gives me directions to reset but it does not seem to work. -

Hello,here's how1. Enter address word 17 "Instrument Cluster".
2. Enter function 10 "Adaptation".
3. Enter channel number "02".
4. Input adaptation value "00000".
5. Save the stored adaptation value and the maintenance light is reset.Greetings -

I think the tool its needed for this procedure and the above post looks right to me but try this lets see what happens its a copy and paste from webPress and hold BOTH right and left panel knobs while turning the ignition key to the ON position, the regular lights will come up and cycle. The message 10000 miles till next service should come up meaning the service is reset till next service cycle.

Is it the same as the b8 Audi A4 with a screen in centre of the dash, if so there's a digital service book on the key which needs a digital stamp, in vag com it's under perform sri reset not in the instrument cluster, not sure how to do this yet with Autel but would think it would be under special functions or programming -

maybe you reset interval service befor than come and the Ecu don't response ....I have the same problem on polo 2006.year....on some car you must reset when yousee on instrument cluster counts down to lowerexample when you see 500km left to service then you can reset the intervalI have this problem and you can fix that only with VAG Com or original diag.tool
