Is there an adjustment that will make the acceleration a bit less responsive on a Toyota Tundra. -

This is a common issue. Either install the shim, or replace the pedal. Let the parts guy
know why you need a new pedal, and he should understand. Parts number will be
different than the original, if that tells you anything!
