      Hello dear

    Im  Jalil  in IRAQ  I have Maxisys pro im rigesterd in your website I need help to use  my Maxi Flash pro  J2534 pass Thru , not have an driver software to use the J2534 with my PC  in the J2534  manual said  (To reprogram vehicles using OEM software, you can find a list below of websites that offer subscription software, or visit http://etools.org/ website to find out more ECU re-flash applications from the OEMs.

    Using additional OEM software, the MaxiFlash Pro can be used as a Pass-Thru diagnostics tool as well, which allows users to read and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and data log PIDS, collect sensor data and log generic OBDII data etc.

    Since J2534 allows multiple devices to be connected at once, you must tell the software you want to use the MaxiFlash Pro. Every application will have a different way to select the device, so please consult the software manual.)

    After I contact  http://etools.org/ website they told me   This is a mistake.  They must mean this address instead:

    but link only let you to know the links of campaneis.

     

     

    Please I don’t know what can I do to offer this software which allows me to read and clear Diagnostic DTCs  and datalog.

    thank you for your replay but ouer dealer say only GM to 2010 can you reprogram and BENZ other factory not released till now in IRAQ.

      Hi ede
     Im new in J2534,  after im install the J2534 Maxiflash pro on my PC there is noapplication program in the PC only the icon   ( MaxiFlashCfg ) when i open it i have the windows like the attachment  file . i dont see windows to read the DTCs and clear DTC . I saw an other program like  (J2534 Toolbox 3 ) for Drew Tech contain these application , how can i have like this program to Autel J2534 Maxiflash pro  ? i need your help please.

    Now is clear it cant ( J2534 Maxiflash pro )  work with PC separate to reprogramming  ECM  only with Maxisys .

       I just downloaded the PC version and I see the same thing he is talking about.... but if I understand this correctly it WILL work with PC to flash.

    My understanding is that the software I just down loaded is ONLY a driver software so that the laptop will connect to the J2534 passthrough. 

    Then, when I want to program, I connect the J-box to the laptop as an interface, but for "tool box" software, that will be found on the OEM website.... so the software on the OEM site is the "scanner" software to drive the re-flash process.... this part is only making the hardware link together. 

    Correct? 

    There are multiple "PC" related downloads here... each have a criptic explanation. What is each of them actually for? I downloaded the one that says "Maxisys"... since that is what I have.... but what of the others?

    All of you people mis understand of how this j2534 pass thru device works,there is no software for you to use your laptop as a diagnostic scanner only when you pay for a temporary subscription will you have access to what ever vehicle you are working on, ie GM,FORD,CHRYSLER ETC.,ONLY THEN WHEN YOU GO ONTO THE DEALER web site will you gain access to what ever software,to reprogram or to use as a dealer level scan tool ie,GM TECH 2,Ford IDS etc.,it also requiers a lot of experience with this type of programming and diagnostic type skills,or you will get very fustrated,once you have used every type of scan tool ie dealer or aftermarket will you then understand how it works,the programs they use mimic dealer scanners on your pc,looks the same as o.e. scan tool and it is not the same subscrition as for programming it says emulate scan tool ie Tech2 or Ford IDS,IDS hope I have helped put some insight into this problem I went thru it also and IT have extensively used every scanner on the market to date
