Thank you for your article written on 2015-06-20 regarding re writing a 2006 dodge charger ecu with it's correct vin number i followed all of your instructions except disconnecting the immobilizer (to see if it did work) and it did successfully re write the ecu, i even rechecked it after done and the vin was correct as the vehicle id plate is stamped, doing this at 9 o'clock at night was the reason for not doing the immobilizer, but tomorrow i will redo the procedure again with the immobilizer disconnected per your article, and the reason for that is after fixing the vin number with the immobilizer not disconnected it would only let the car run about 5-10 seconds and then turn off, so i rewrote the original ecu serial number and the car ran fine.    BY THE WAY THIS WAS ALL DONE USING A DS708 FROM AUTEL ,  Please if you have this procedure still available to you i sure would like to see you save many mechanics an diy self-er persons have the advantage of you excellent knowledge. again thank you so much.
