Just a FYI, i purchased the maxi sys pro because i work for a ford dealer and we also work on many other foreign and domestic cars. If you are already using a manufactures pass thru device like the vcmII or gm mdi first, you will need a seperate lap top or computer to use the autel pass thru device, the software from the mfg vs sw that mfg gives to after market are not compatible. I have both gm and fords Dealer info on my computer but have not tried the aftermarket versions, if anyone has please let me know if you had any issues or compatibility issues.
