Yes in this case go to techauthority.com sign up for a 3 day membership, download their j2534 software and follow the steps from there. Chrysler can be tricky to reflash. Hard to mess it up permanently, but it can be difficult to get started. Once you figure out what calibration you need. Hook up to the vehicle. Unplug the abs mmodule. Download the calibration file then open the j2534 software. In your case since it's an 06 open the legacy software and it will take it from there.

You could write VIN on a new Chrysler PCM with Maxisys. It is located under "miscellaneous tests" menu i believe,  just click on "read VIN" and if doesn't have a recorded VIN it will let you write a new one.

Yes you can rewrite the vin with the maxisys like J Guts said but keep in mind when
reading the vin what happens is it looks at the wcm/win and it will say the vin is
correct and will not allow you to change it so what needs to be done is right before
you click on read vin turn key off and since it can't see any vin it will the say incorrect
vin and it will allow you to rewrite it. Also never try cranking the vehicle before
changing vin and even after the vin change the ignition needs to be cycle before
starting the vehicle for the secret key to be transfer from wcm to pcm. Good luck.

Thanks Ede65, I have tried  few times the method you mentioned for VIN re-write on used PCMS and works great...
