After I registered the unit, I tried to reset the oil life with it. The unit recognized the VCI and liked up, I am able to read codes with no problems but it will not erase them. I get the message, Device is unable to communicate with the control unit.This message is the same if I try to reset the oil life as well.I am wondering if I need to buy a subscription or did the first year come with the purchase?
