     Strange problem you are having, I just tried my 2000 Mk4 Golf Gti there with the updated card and have full autoscan functionality?

     sorry but this is not a problem at all would have been if id updated 4gb card first instead of 8gb now I can just put 4gb card back in and its up and running again for older cars no problem

     Any ideas how to flag this Renault issue for a speedy fix. I emailed support but got no reply? Its a bit of a pain as I am working on mostly Renaults right now

     may be best to call autel direct some people r getting good response about problems but one or two said support was crap think this may be the quickest root to your problem I hope when you call the person on the other end no's his stuff hope you can get it sorted before you end up pulling all your hear out.

    I have this problem since I installed the French version.
    But now I can only have version 2.10 (for renault) and not older versions.
    How to recover other versions knowing that pc suite gives me the opportunity to install the old versions  for any vehicle?
    I tried another memory card (4GB 8GB 16GB) but it still does not work.

     go to your autel updater open it where it shows v2.10 there is a drop down box click on it and shows v2.10 and v1.0 tap on v1.0 then your good to do update

    unfortunately my MD802 has been updated french and since I can not see the dropdown menus for different brands of vehicles.
    With the English version I could choose the dropdown menu but not anymore.
    How to switch to English after having upgraded to a French version?
    Is would this be possible?

     I think your best option is to call autel fr thy should  be able to help sort you problem
