Alan,

I have just raised the same question against my new MD808 - looks like Autel rarely monitor these questions so direct support is probably the only way to get an answer.

You need to press the update icon on your device for the pc to recognise it

You will need to stick the SD card into the computer...
If your computer does not have a reader, you will need to get one..

Make copies so you always have a spare, since these systems seem to loose the data on the card frequently.
