For maintenance on EPB I connected my new Diagnostic Tool EBS301. So I plugged in the ODBII Connector to the nut at my car - similarly at the Diagnostic Tool. The screen ( on EBS301) lighted up and so I suppose everything is in working order. First I examined the Trouble Codes and several result are showed. Next I chose the EBP Button on screen. Well, there is to name the car ( Citroen ) and the type ( C4 Picasso ) - ok . Now the tool looks for the VIN of my car at the Bord Computer. Seconds later on the screen appeared a form with seventeen times of " A " for place holder for the VIN. Yes, I can change it and I did it and wrote the VIN by hand and saved. Again seconds later on screen appeared now the connection to the Bord Computer failed. Sure, the troubleshooting points of the manual I checked up ( two or three times ). But the Diagnostic Tool don´t know my car.
