A wide range of data for cars in Germany is not ready für Europe/Germany. Here the frequency 433MHz is used (by law!) while in US 315MHz is used.
I.e. my Hyundai Santa Fé 2014 cannot be read from the ECU and no valve can be read out because the TS601 dataset waits for 315MHz!
It is a shame!!! Many of Asian/US-cars used in Germany are not to serve with this tester and the German department is not accessible! They don't answer mail and telephone!
Since November the laws in Germany changed for TPMS ba default for new cars and the TS601 is not to use in a wide range!
Really a shame!!!
In between I got in touch with autel in Germany. We'll see what they do!
in between I got access to the 433-MHz-valves after autel switched me over to European version! Thank you for that, I have a partly success!
But there are issues left!
There is no option to access the TPMS-ECU via menue of the Hyundai cars and my Santa Fe to relearn the sensors to ECU, even with established connection to ECU (shown on screen!)!
Only the iX35 from all your Hyundai's has this option on screen but if I try this one, connection fails because mine is Sante Fe!.
A connection via central menue "OBD-II"
works in principle, but with no TPMS-options in this path!
Please notice:
My car (Huyndai Santa Fe, 2014) does not learn TPMS-sensors by itself (statement from manufacturer!!!) not like other brands do! The scanned sensors must be relearned via ECU-OBD connection!
And that's what I bought the TS601
for. I don't have any programmable sensors like MX on duty!
