     I've just updated the sd card via the PC Suite and inserted it back into the device.  On starting it gave a message that the memory was being refreshed and the device promptly shut down and will not restart.  It seems to be completely dead.

    Is there a reset or should I do something with the SD card again.

     Sounds like the card has become corrupted. Try reinstalling.
