This is mostly for security issue when logging on and idle. It will log out after certain amount of time. -

Security issues, other forums and websites don't seem to have a problem when you stay logged in and why a certain amount of time, theres nothing more annoying than getting halfway through doing something and being logged out and having to log back in again. Some sites have a stay logged in box to tick, I cant see that being a problem on here on a forum?
