I'd like the ability to print directly to a printer instead of having to send through a computer. I would like to download the print app from the printer manufacturer and print like a normal tablet or android smartphone.

I would also need that feature, I don't have a windows pc to run the printer feature as it is now. We should be able to print to a networked printer.

I would add, it's almost essential. the tool is connected to a network via WIFI. it's exactly the same as being conneted via Ethernet. My printer is on the LAN, all my computers can print except the Maxisys. I mean, even my iPhone can print directly without a computer. the hardware is there, the software already exists, it's just a matter of unlocking the feature.

I use hp eprint services, most brands of wireless printers should have an app you can download and use on maxisys. If its a wired printer there are ways yo do it but you'll have to plug your tool into the printer or have the maxisys printer software on a pc connected to your printer. Hope this helps!!!

Problem is most printer apps are only accessible through google play/app store. I tried
through amazon apps but the brand printers I use aren't listed. I tried a generic one
but it didn't find my printers on my network.

This function is currently not supported. At the moment, we can only print via PC.

I downloaded the HP print app and Maxisys is capable of printing directly to wifi printer network, the only problem is that you have to save as PDF first for the printer app to open document. I've been doing it that way for a while, but it sucks that it can't print screen directly to printer without converting to PDF.
