I would gladly pay for an optional battery for the DS708. I have accidently unplugged the scanner several times causing me to have to re-ID the vehicle. This is time consuming. I would also like to be able to turn the unit on just before I walk to the vehicle, so it is warmed up and ready for ID at plug in time. The battery should also be rechargeable directly from the DLC like the Solus Ultra. This is very important and one reason why I like my Solus Ultra and use it first on every car, unless Snap-on doesn't cover that vehicle like Porsche for example.

Cornwell has it as the "Blue Power Touch". I believe your tool will be better, I like the Autel coverage.
