Hello Jose.  Oddly enough, I purchased a MaxiCom MK808BT Pro and I'm trying to figure out what system software it should operate on.  So we're kind of in the same boat.  Just to shed some light on this, yes, your first year of use is free (included in the purchase price) and then it's $150/year after that.  The first year doesn't start until you register the product.  I bought this new back in 2024 but just now fired it up so my renewal fee won't be due until Dec 2025.
