Coming from the OTC Genisys platform to the DS708, I have found that the graphing capability of the DS708 could use some improvement as follows: - The DS708 graphs are constantly autoranging. Troubleshooting intermittents would be a lot easier if the DS708 would autorange just enough to contain the largest recorded PID value during said graphing session and remain at that vertical scaling with a min/max value displayed in the vertical scale border. Such a feature would be very handy on a test drive when the technician can't be watching the screen every second. Being able to adjust the time base would be a big plus, too. - When in 4 graph mode, It would be easier to study time relationships between 4 PIDs at once if all 4 graphs were arranged vertically one above the other instead of 4 corner style. A moveable vertical line cursor that would run through all 4 graphs simutaneously would help in the comparison of time relationships between all 4 PIDs, too. - It would be more efficient to be able to select which PIDs to graph right from the live PID text list and have the graph just stay within the text list so that it could be scrolled up and down with all the other text PIDs. Right now, in order to graph, the user is taken completely away from the text page and into a graph only page where the tecnician has to choose all over again which PIDs are desired to be graphed. This is very time consuming.
