     I have been trying to clone the original sensors over to a separate set for snow tires.  I keep getting the message "without sensor (-2)".   What steps am I missing?  I have even dropped the snow tire pressure to below 70kPa as the tool instructs.

     I think you can read most brand sensor IDs , but don't think an Autel TPMS tool or an  MS906TS can write IDs to any blank sensors other than the Autel MX sensors sold for that particular application vehicle.
