Hi, try the knob on the drivers door ,also check if there is water in the spoiler container
if so clean it by spraying compressed air trough it and try the trunk lid again. Also try
Google for more information about not closing of the trunk this happens often for
    various reasons.

     Hello,
I took your advice regarding the battery. I discounted it and cleaned the terminals and connectors. However, the battery information was never entered in the car system. The make of the battery was not one of the 2 listed brands; therefore, selected the choice “reserved”. I was able to enter the serial number and was accepted; but was not able to enter the battery model/type despite entering the correct numbers that is on the battery sticker. I tried every possible way and order of letters and numbers but none was accepted.

    Can you help please.

Hi, your panamera need a special agm battery(odp-agm48-cca770) cost around $511.
Or ask advice from a car battery specialist for a equivalent battery.

I have got a 12V 100ah German service free battery based on the battery supplier advice as replacement for the old one I removed. And as I mentioned, when I entered the serial number in the BTM, it was accepted. However, no matter what combination of letters and numbers required for the 11digits battery type I use, it is not accepted.

    Any thoughts?

Do you think if I enter the information for any other previously accepted battery, it would work.

It has EOM-AG-600106090 as type code on the sticker
On the battery itself it shows on 600109090 as the battery type.

Costly, troublesome, and requires its own special workshops. I am seriously thinking of getting rid of this Panamera after I get it running again. I have had endless problems with this car.
I have had a 2004 Carrera 911 for 20 years and never had any problems at all. All I do is the oil change and regular periodic services.

Hi, I would try that maybe the previously accepted battery is accepted again ,but I really
do not know if it works.

     It worked for the battery

    I have a question:
    - what do the different LETTERS at the end of the same Porsche part numbers, and why.
    - Are electronic parts with identical numbers but different ending letters interchangeable.
    Regards, Ibrahim

Hi, what the letters mean . eom ,factory ordered, ag ,alerts general(warning) ,are there
more letters? You could find these abbreviations in the manual of abbrivations which
you can find on google. LETTERS and NUMBERS.
