I've been having problems getting this scanner to connect/communicate with several Honda vehicles I tried to scan recently. The scanner acts like I don't have the key in the right position, keeps trying and inevitably fails in its attempt to connect. This has happed twice now, one an '06 and another an '03, though it was able to connect to a '12 Honda the other day, however. . 

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean try using another AL519 scanner to see if the problem persists?
