Ok. Heres whats happening.

 Well I do appreciate your help with what you have been able to tell me. I did try uninstalling and downloading a later version of Nissan but never thought to do Infiniti. Is there a particular version number for them that you recommend trying?

 I having the almost same problem here. I wanted to change my electronic steering lock control unit for a "new used" one but i got a dtc because of the discordance between the key register in bcm and the esl control unit. i have succed 1 time (and only 1 time) to do the "steering lock release" but i was having my 2 good keys in the car so they've been both erased. when i've tried to do the "c/u initialization" , it didn't work. So now i just can't do nothing with the car. I have retried to do the steering release procedure but just didn't succed. i don't know if i'm doing anything wrong..... maybe someone should make a video of how doing it and put a link here so i could be easier to understand that exact procedure..... thank for sharing...... i'm using maxidas ds708.

 On my side i've been able to call a guy that use Abritus72 and he's been able to reprogram all the keys..... that ok cause the car work again but too bad to have it been repair by somebody from outside the shop.......
