How can I get a larger flash card to work in my MaxiDas DS708?

Reply to 20 floor: Hello. I am trying with no succes an 16gb sdcard class 10 from kingmax. I have formated the card multiple ways, i have uploaded via pc. I have the same message SD card wrong. Sometimes it works, but a very few times. I have read in a forum that autel only suport Sandisk cards. It is true? Thanks -

hello, we had tested the 8G SD card, but 16G is in test progress. I would suggest you to use a 8G card. Besides, though we can accept the other brands of SD card, it seems like Sandisk works best with our machine. -

Well, 8G is definitely fine, but you have to take risks for 16G and 32G. We are doing tests for those big capacity cards, but they are not finished yet. -

Reply to 24 floor: I´ve tried today with a kingston micro sd hc 8 gb with adapter and not working. The same as I wrote above with the 16 gb. If I remove the card and put it in with the DS ON, it´s working until i shut it down. Then again the same message error, remove the card, put it back. -

You don't need any file. Just bug a larger capacity card and do the update yourself. -

I should be receiving my new DS 708 today . I was wondering if before I even insert the 4GB SD card that comes shipped with it and turning the unit on and register the unit , could I just copy the contents of the 4GB card to a larger class 10 Sandisk SD card and then turn it on , register and update using the larger card?
