You don't have to uninstal updates, they will keep coming, you can uninstall the new
logos, check the maxisys section on how to do it. -

I just spent the money on the upgrades.Haven't noticed any real performance issues. The icons look pretty weak. I did upgrade my 708 before I heard about the pending lawsuit. Might not have spent the $700 if I knew there could be issues. -

Hello, I just got my 708 and was in the process of updates when I saw this post.How do I get the original icons I looked at the MaxiSys but everyone emailing this person to get the info
How do you delete the car.bmp? Do you have to go into the SD card?
What is the official process to get the original icons back? No one has posted the steps?

1. do NOT delete the car.bmp files. This is the original icon you want to use.
Here is a short of the process.
Insert the SD into your PC.
Run the update as normal.
Use the windows explorer (my computer -> SD card drive letter -> Scan folder) to open the scan folder on the SD
Mark (single click on) the Make folder.
Use the search feature of Windows (dependent on your windows version) and find the "car_new.bmp" files in all the sub directories.
Delete the car_new.bmp files (= the new icons you do not like)
Done.
