reverse engineering is right and exactly what autel's engineers are are doing since the end of last year because of all the lawsuits, and i believe is required to beat such lawsuits, but as a result we will end up with a play station see it to believe it. we no longer have an original manufacturer tool structure but rather a very aftermarket one. everything has been changed. I used to find the options and features the same way as my original tools before and it was very handy since i didn't have to look all over the place to find them, not anymore and am to the point that i hardly use it. maybe it gets better than original, maybe their new layout is better for some but not to me. after every single update i find less functions  and more issues. it seems to me as though the more i praise the tool  and try to help the more they screw it up. good luck.
