they obviously don't do thorough testing "just once will do if it works" something is in the pipeline and i feel it isn't good ... -

The solution to this until you update with the new software is to disconnect WIFI and reboot the tool.Try that. After the update the problem is solved. -

Makes me wonder if autel put something in v 1.29 v1.30 so you would have to update to fix issues. I am some happy that I stopped updating before v1.29 came out. The last 2 months of my update time has been a bust anyway. This may be the end for me. I can live with what I current;y have. I feel sorry for you all that updated and are having issues. It will be interesting to see what the new updates hold. No response from autel is a bad sign. -

Autel China is closed Oct 1. to Oct 7 for National Holiday. We will need to wait till Oct, 8 for any responses from Autel on this update. -

Thanks for replying kind of figured it out for myself if you read my subsequent post. I'll just leave the wi-fi off permanently for now as can't be annoyed every time I check vehicle. Never used the management features anyhow and data severely lacking also. Mostly just printed code reports and vehicle reports to be used by other software. Probably safer for the vehicle also.Printer I always leave off also unless needed as constantly requires windows 7 to use a forced shut-down if on at that time that's why it's unchecked in the start-up list. Glad I'm not programming with the pro unit otherwise I'd be p***** -

Got it too, just after connecting to the internet for uploading some logs Autel requested... great....
Has to do with updates. I cleared the cache and am updating right now; no more que or erasing cache could be doing the trick. Fingers crossed the solutions posted here will be full proof since we all have this tool for work, not for fun and cannot be waiting too long before properly using it again.
Will try to get rid of this and if it works will let you know as well. -

@pedro, you seem to be right.
Turned off the internet connection and after that the WIFI as well. I did update completely to be honest so don't know or that had to do with it (after updates still had a few messages). After cleaning cache, I turned off WIFI also and without internet connection did not see errors so far (fingers crossed).

My updates expired in February of this year and I am on v1.27. Mine started doing this too. Turning wifi of seems to stop it. Went thru apps and cleaned cache on some of them no help. Did find a strange file at the bottom of the apps page.....a zero byte file with Chinese lettering. I disabled it and now Maxisys seems to run fine after putting up with one "maxisys stopped working" prompt. -
