Could you please provide us the car information for our checking? Make, model and VIN?

You've got a problem if you can't detect all especially newer than 2008 or whenever that manufacturer fully implemented Can network as it is standardized. Before that depends on manufacturer and Autel's software period......... No amount of data-logging the same issue with the same results (insanity) will resolve it. Get some data-logs sent and e-mail support for support to resolve your problem. Many others aren't having that issue so what's different with your scanner is the question to me. They eventually will respond to e-mail support so keep them coming.

If you can detect and Vin shows your communicating as for decoding that's probably Autel's software isn't capable on that Vin which could be fixed with updates so data-log and send it to them to add for future improvement.

First, welcome to the club just wondering are you using strictly the Auto Vin  only directly from the diagnostic home screen where you can also select by region. If so me personally I usually select car manufacturer first then try to read and decode seems to work out better also you'll find out right there if it's even offered as an option. If not probably auto-vin from home screen won't work. It's only one more tap anyways LOL
