     Hello, I have a ds708. It does not look like this tool will program keys for the last car I attempted to do (2007 Impala). Any suggestions?

    do the 3-10. key on 10 minutes and 30 sec,key off 30 sec. repeat 3 times. in the event that the ecm was replaced the vin needs to be rewritten before doing the vtd procedure. this is only possible by flashing the ecm either with tis2000 or tis web.

    I have a 03 version and trying to program a blank key for it.
    Do i follow the same steps?

    no if you have a program key already insert that key turn ign on for a few sec, turn off insert the un programmed key and turn key on it will be automatically programmed

     Hello mate,did you mean the ds 708 cant rewrite vin on chevrolet HHR 2008 ecm  replaced?I have one like that and 
    i want to change the ecm..Regard

     no you need to flash the module in order to change it/rewrite it.
