Yes data log is much easier on the ids, also faster, you can check boxes on the
maxisys too and just pick the pids you desire but you have to go thru a huge list of
them. Is no bad but there is room for improvement. -

Do you know if Autel is going to release any of these Ford updates for the Maxidas as well or just the Maxisys platforms. As I have not seen any updates since the logo change updates. Also do you know if the Landrover/Jaguar vehicles will ever get any bi-directional controls, relearns, power balance and any other special tests? Thanks for any replies. -

Most of the programming/coding features is for the maxisys, I don't know for a fact if
the maxidas is incapable of such functions or this is an strategy from autel to sell more
maxisys and drop the 708 it could very well be that. The maxisys is way faster I know,
but how much speed is needed here I have no idea. Regarding jag/rover softwares I
expect great things but for 2005 and up which is ids/sdd function like ford, but before
2005 I don't expect too much unless they crack the t4 tool -

I told autel support to look into this tool the T4 a few month ago, they will find all
answers there for the pre2005 jaguars and landrover vehicles, hopefully they do and if
so is going to be great. -

Hi due to limited internal space, we currently have no plan to release new Ford version to DS708 and small handheld models. Besides, the new version mainly added programming function, which is not supported by DS708. -

My question was mainly the availability of bi-directional controls, power balance feature, diesel bi-directional controls, relearns & PATS key replacements?

your question is legit, i think it should and it must, regardless of everything else that was said this are normal functions of the tool that should be available my opinion. -

The 708 will be updated but most programming/coding functions will not be available
for this tool, don't know why they autel says is incapable of such functions.
