     Hi Ede, engineers say we currently have no plan to develop old pre 1996 GM cars. Are focusing more on new cars

       they will continue to update it but there will be no coding/programming function. in other words for diagnostics with basic functions you can use the 708, ford dianostic,programming,coding and adavance functions the 905 and regular 908 and if interested in future flashing the 908p. they got it all figured out to the teeth. so like i said before in another post somewhere eventually the 708 will be obsolete. cuz i rather buy a 905 for 1400,1500 dollars than to update a 708 for 700 and be limited to a lot of functionalities, even buying a new 708 for 900 dollars makes more sense than paying 700 for an update. i dont know maybe i am getting really bad at math but this dont make sense to me. it will make more sense 300 dolars for the 708, 700 for the 905 and 908 and the 1200 for 908p if they release the flashes ofcourse, the 708 should not be the same as the 905 cuz they dont do the same.

    The 905 is the maxisys mini. I buy all maxisys from china, aobd2shop.com, but the
    best price I have seen is from jbtools, they sell on ebay and at their store. I friend of
    mine bought his from jbtools the 905 for 1400 and change and the 908p for 2400.
    Have not checked lately it could be higher or lower. Good luck.

    I have uploaded several logs showing the evap system test will not run on ford
    vehicles. I work at a ford dealer and it would be nice for this feature to work. It starts
    the test stating that it is making sure that system is vented, which it is, but system
    says its not in specified range, even though it is, and test won't run.

    You are correct if they could incorporate the t4 platform for the older rover and jaguar
    sdd..then that would make me a very happy camper because 85% of what I do is
    jaguar.I use sdd but the maxysis is so much easier to connect and boot up.Really need
    a good scanner for jlr platforms.

    i see many people having issues with evap, i pernonally never had one and i do  and done many fords  and others. but remember certain requirements must be met or it will not worked.

    the vehicle must be parked over night or at least 8 hours, ambient temperature between 40f to 100f  altitude no more than 8000 feet, the air temperature sensor must match the coolant temperature sensor  which should be the same as ambient temperature, note just because the vehicle was parked all night does not mean this readings are going to be ok  cuz sometimes they are not and need to be checked, fuel level between half to 3 quater tank, 3/4 tank is more desireable, battery voltage is very important also, hook up a booster or charger, no trouble codes present or history, reset kam if you must. some ford techs just want to do it to get rid off the p1000 code, in that case do a drive cycle to bypaas it. maybe i have been lucky and never ran into one that i can remember besides some hondas. good luck, i have also sent datalogs to support regarding this fetures for others not me personally, support engineers have found nothing wrong with it and neither have i. now you get to work on ford more than most of us do so i know you are going to run into more issues than us and i am sure you knew the aboved explanations, they were not ment for you but for everybody that didnt know and with the upmost respect.
